Alex Milovanov, M.A., Therapist
Alex Milovanov is working towards the completion of his doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Waterloo. He received his M.A. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Waterloo and his B.A. in Honours Psychology from the University of Toronto. His research focuses on understanding characteristics of therapists that make them more helpful and effective. Alex previously trained at Markham Stouffville Hospital as well as the Centre for Mental Health Research and Treatment at the University of Waterloo. Alex provides assessment and cognitive behavioural therapy to adolescents and adults, and has a particular interest in treating issues related to anxiety, depression, and trauma. He always strives to approach his clients in an attentive, empathetic, and deeply respectful manner, working collaboratively with individuals to help them reach their goals.
