Kelsey MacDonald, M.A., Therapist
Kelsey MacDonald completed her B.A. in Honours Social Development Studies from the University of Waterloo and her M.A. in Counselling Psychology from Western University. She has previously provided psychotherapy in post-secondary settings, including Fanshawe College, Conestoga College, the University of Waterloo, and Wilfrid Laurier University. Kelsey provides consultation, assessment, and cognitive behavioural therapy to adolescents and adults, and has a particular interest in treating anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, and related difficulties. In addition to working at the Waterloo CBT Clinic, Kelsey works in several private practice settings in the community providing psychotherapy and assessment services for a wide range of presenting concerns. Kelsey takes a collaborative approach when working with clients in order to address goals and develop a treatment plan. She understands that meeting with a therapist can be intimidating, and she aims to create a safe and comfortable space for her clients.
